- You, the hirer, will be responsible for ensuring that those attending the hall during your hire period comply with all government COVID-19 Secure Guidelines in place on the date of hire, including observing social distancing and wearing of masks.
- The hall is fully cleaned regularly, so to ensure the safety of your group you will be responsible for cleaning door handles, light switches, window catches, equipment, toilet handles and seats, wash basins, tables and chairs and all surfaces likely to be used during your period of hire before other members of your group arrive and to keep the premises clean through regular cleaning of surfaces during your hire, using the products supplied. Please leave the hall as clean as you found it when you leave.
- Please ensure that nobody planning to attend your event attends the hall if they have had COVID-19 symptoms in the 7 days prior to your event.
- Track and trace: you must keep a record of those attending your event, with each person / group either using an NHS QR code, providing their details for a register, or using your own booking system, and contact NHS Track & Trace if anyone develops COVID-19 symptoms in the 7 days following your event. Please also let us know immediately by email to: shustokevillagehall@gmail.com.
- If anybody becomes unwell with COVID-19 symptoms during your event, please assist them to leave the building ASAP and notify us by email to: shustokevillagehall@gmail.com.
- We advise you to keep the hall well-ventilated during your event, with windows and doors open as far temperatures permit. Please close and lock them upon leaving.
- Unfortunately we may need to close the hall if there are safety concerns relating to COVID-19, for example if someone who has attended the hall develops symptoms and thorough cleaning is required, or in the event that public buildings are asked or required to close again. If this is necessary, we will do our best to inform you promptly and you will not be charged for the affected hire.
