ANNOUNCEMENT FROM NORTH WARWICKSHIRE BOROUGH COUNCIL
Due to unavoidable staff shortages, we are struggling to crew all of our refuse and recycling rounds. Whilst we can complete this week’s bin collections, it has been agreed that, unfortunately, some services will have to be suspended.
As a result, there will be no green bin collections next week. The planned winter service break will now start one week early and continue for five weeks instead of four. This means there will be no green bin collections from Monday 24th January until Sunday 20th February inclusive. Green bin collections will restart on Monday 21st February. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Please note we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds for this service. We will attempt to clear any backlog when collections resume, but in the meantime, we are reminding residents, that garden waste is accepted at all of Warwickshire’s Household Waste Recycling Centres (tips) www.warwickshire.gov.uk/hwrc.
